A Month as an Engineering Geologist

Hello mellow,

Its been a while since I wrote something in this blog. But looking at one of my colleague who seems to actively update his blog (everyday!!), he encourage me to write something.

This coming Monday, will be exactly one month I’ve worked as an engineering geologist at G&P Geotechnics. At first, the feeling of nervousness is at maximum level meeting all the new people. But lucky, all of them are really nice. The working environment is really good (so far :P). I’ve been given the chance to meet many types of people with different attitudes (all are positive okay! hehe).

In term of job scope, it never been in my mind I would be working as an Engineering Geologist supervising subsurface investigation. All those terms within the job are really new (never heard about it during my study except on the mapping works).  What ever it is, from this I will be able learn a new thing which might be useful in the future. Who knows? :)

Right now, I am doing terrain mapping again in Penang. A lot of new things I’ve learnt and I hope it will continues. :)

You are Who you Are

These days towards the end of the year 2011, the most discussed issue, the most concerned situation, I would say is our beloved country POLITICS matter. Looking at the whole picture, who knows what will happen in the near future. Those with power will delicately protect their place and those without will surprisingly fight, for them they fight for what are they entitled to, fight for their right.

If you observe, if you read, if you think, if you discuss, if you judge… who do you think are right one, which people are the one that actually wrong?? This side or that side. All that we are fighting for regardless of any demands, let first think, look around, think again… for what, for who do we march on energetically.. for who, for what that we defend till blood.

FOR OUR OWN BENEFIT??? FOR EVERYONE???

Personally, I can see majority people are fighting for their own benefits. If people are fighting for the sake of everyone, to make a better living for everyone. How peace can the world be. But then again, we can never be perfect but remember we still can improve.

They say ‘Ambil yang bersih, buang yang keruh’.

If we are able for further improvement, why don’t we try. For the sake of better living for everyone.

‘You are who you are, You choose who you want to be’

… but make sure you choose the right one.

Criminal Minds

Topic today is not about the so-called TV Series ‘Criminal Minds’, but it reflects how dangerous and sharp one mind can be.  Human these days are very knowledgeable, they gain them through their own effort or indirectly been exposed to them with the power medias and the gang. These knowledge as we all know, if been used in negative way will result in bad bad bad situations. I have been following a lot of intelligent, popular figure online, reading the news and observing their thoughts on certain issues.

I realized these intelligent people somehow, in certain issues just throw away their opinion without deep thinking but yet positively affect them (if you know what I mean).  I can see how they are using their logical thinking, current trends as their support. I wrote on my twitter FACT IS FACT, TRUTH IS TRUTH, YOU CAN DENY, BUT YOU CAN’T CHANGE. It feels sad to see how one thing which is clearly wrong but with a few logic arguments it looks OK. Phew.

That’s it. Just writing what is in my mind right now, short and simple!

p/s: Don’t twist the fact. You are an intelligent person so be like one.

1. Sebelum khatam Al Quran,

2. Sebelum membuat para nabi memberimu syafaat di hari akhir,

3. Sebelum para muslim meridloi kamu,

4. Sebelum kau laksanakan haji dan umrah….

Bertanya Aisyah : Ya Rasulullah.. .. Bagaimana aku dapat melaksanakan empat perkara seketika?? Rasul tersenyum dan bersabda : Jika engkau hendak tidur bacalah,

1) Al Ikhlas tiga kali seakan-akan kau mengkhatamkan Al Quran.

2) Membaca selawat untukku dan para nabi sebelum aku, maka kami semua akan memberi syafaat di hari kiamat.

3) Beristighfarlah untuk para muslimin maka mereka akan meredhai kamu.

4) Perbanyaklah bertasbih, bertahmid, bertahlil, bertakbir maka seakan-akan kamu telah melaksanakan ibadah haji dan umrah

Kisah Kain Sulam Ribbon

Skang ni mesti musim kawan2, kakak2, teman pejabat, jiran sebelah rumah buat kenduri kawen kan. anak kawen, kakak kawen, suami kawen lagi… eh, opppsss. sorry! :P So, yang kita ni kaum perempuan mesti nak melaram kan. mane la tau terjumpa jodoh. Jadi, ape lagi kene la cari KAIN kan…..

Pastu, takkan nak pergi kenduri pakai baju slalu pakai kan. mesti nak lain dari yg lain… baru MENYERLAH. hehe. satu lagi, bagi mengelakkan dari situasi ‘eh, asal baju die same mcm baju kamu ni’… xpon ‘eh, nape baju deme same je dgn baju awok pakai ni…. kite bako kite bako’. LOL. So, admin mencadangkan beberapa jenis kain yg lain daripada yg lain dgn harga BERPATUTAN. haaaaaa… kain ape, KAIN SULAM RIBBON.

Kain Sulam Ribbon puan-puan cantikkkkkkk…. haaaaa. :P ade BUNGA2 timbul2 siap.. diserikan dengan manik2 lagi. xcayeee???? tgk gmbr bawah ni….

To those who are married or who are going to, here some tips to strengthen the bond between wife and husband. =P

1. PUJI – Setiap pasangan perlu saling memuji antara satu sama lain dalam semua aspek kehidupan seperti masakan atau ucapan terima kasih apabila diberi pertolongan.

2. PELUK – Pasangan suami isteri hendaklah selalu peluk memeluk antara satu sama lain sekerap mungkin pada setiap hari kerana pelukan itu adalah belaian penuh kasih sayang.

3. PENGHARGAAN – Amalan memberi hadiah boleh menambah kasih sayang.

4. PERHATIAN – Mesti diambil berat kerana kekurangan perhatian boleh  mengakibatkan pasangan terasa diabaikan.

5. PERSEFAHAMAN – Memerlukan pasangan lebih bertolak ansur dan memahami kerjaya masing-masing.

6. PERGAULAN – Pasangan suami isteri mesti menjaga pergaulan masing-masing dengan orang lain bagi mengelakkannya daripada melampaui batas, menimbulkan cemburu seterusnya membawa kepada pembabitan orang ketiga.

7. PERCUTIAN – Perlu merancang percutian berdua-duaan dengan pasangannya di tempat yang jauh daripada kesibukan dan kehidupan rutin.

8. PERMOHONAN – Doa kepada Allah supaya merapatkan kasih sayang antara pasangan suami isteri serta dijauhi daripada godaan kemewahan dan keseronokan dunia.

Sunrise at Broga Hill, Semenyih

Hello everyone,

I would like to share my experience at Broga Hill last friday ( I know I should write about my Java and Korea trip first :P ). It was a sudden plan but an amazing one. My friend called around 1 am and we went there at 530am later. With only a few hours of sleep I joined him happily (ingat mcm xde la penat sgt kan).

Broga Hill located in Semenyih (senang je nak pergi rupenye, ikut sign board. hehe) near University of Nottingham (uni ni sumpah lawa). When we arrived there at 630am, there were already a lot of people (cuti sekolah katekan). From below to the top, it took us around 30-60 mins with couple of pit stops (rehat2 minum air sket)

At the top of the hill, we can see Pekan Broga and Semenyih (I think so). The view is really beautiful. For photographers, you guys should go up there sometimes and snap a lot of pics. We were able to watch sunrise (I wish I brought my girlfriend.. ade ke? :P) and it was so romantic.

In short, to me Broga Hill is a best place to leisure. Pack all your food, wear proper pants and t-shirts and don’t forget to bring along mineral water. Here are some of the pictures (unedited). ;)
